The background in this painting is a beaded Indian handicraft purchased by Eric which normally takes its place on his dining room table. When he saw the Gloriosa lilies for sale he knew they’d make a great paring in this piece. The beautiful succulent echoing the colors of the lilies, and the palm flower are both from his garden.
