This composition for Fulcrum Wines is aptly named “Point of Balance”. It relates to the winemaker’s devotion to making wines that balance perfectly with food and that possess the right blend of acid, tannin, alcohol, fruit expression, oak influence and age worthiness; all key areas to strike the right balance.

The collaboration between winemaker and artist have yielded this amazing painting that features watercolor feats that can only be accomplished by Christensen, such as the texture in the draped fabric, the refection of the Fulcrum logo in the granite and the subtle refection of the cork in the bottle. Throughout this painting the artist echoes the shape of a fulcrum, which can be seen in the shape of the pears and the black tissue paper which envelopes each bottle of Fulcrum.
