“Stag’s Leap” was created for a couple who live in the Napa Valley, and was named for Stag’s Leap Mountain, which is a prominent background feature. They requested that the bottles used in the still life represent the wineries their close friends work for. The life-like tree bark and cheese work especially well in this piece.
