"Ticket to Paradise"

Winter sunlight casts a gentle sparkle on two glasses of deep-garnet colored Cabernet. A pair of late-season pomegranates adds a dash of ruby color to the comforting vignette in the latest of Christensen’s master works. The satin pearl-like petals of the orchids in the background interplay with the subdued green silken napkin, urging the viewer to reach out and touch the softness of both. Delicate sunlight glistens in the reflection from a simple water pitcher - and time seems to stand still while we long for a warmer season as this scene becomes our “Ticket to Paradise.”
