The smell in the air is unmistakable.  A bit of a chill, but almost unnoticeable.  Summer, at last, has departed – and left behind a soft wind that sends discarded leaves aloft, whirling them in a dance before they land and bounce.   Orange, yellow and earthly browns dot the landscape as if with an artist’s brush. Yet, the rhythm is familiar and a welcoming sign for the new season – an “October Medley”.
